I began training with Aaron 2 years ago. My main focus was to improve
my health and to mend a dislocating shoulder.
With Aaron’s knowledge, support, encouragement and friendship I
formed trust.
He educated me on how to lead a healthier and more holistic lifestyle,
and to maintain a healthy mind, body and soul.
With willpower, dedication and Aaron’s coaching, I achieved my main goals
and now couldn’t imagine training and health NOT being a part of my daily
routine and lifestyle.

I have been training and competing in several disciplines over the last 30 years. Taekwondo, Judo, Korean wrestling, running, weights, Motocross and currently racing cross country mountain bikes.
Having all of this experience behind me I thought I knew my body pretty well. It seems I didn’t. I was cycling 300 km a week & racing mountain bikes on the weekends & I found myself feeling very flat and lots of lows in my energy levels and eating lots of food with very little good results.
I was very fortunate that Aaron came along at the right time. With just a few personal training sessions and a bit of info about my diet we quickly worked out my body was in a “catabolic state. This means I wasn’t giving my body the nutrition it need to handle the massive amount of calories I was using and therefore my body was burning into my lean muscle tissue. As a result I was losing muscle mass.
I have been training with Aaron for 12 months now. He has guided me every step of the way with the correct balance between exercise, nutrition & most importantly recovery. I feel healthier, fitter & stronger now than when I was in my 20s and 30s.

As a wife and mother of two, I never really thought about my own needs and I never took time for myself. I had let myself go for too long and always found an excuse why I couldn't exercise or look after myself like I should. I felt that it was time to do something about it, so I did.
My husband supported my decision to start some PT sessions and with Amber from Cross Training Systems, I had taken the first step to changing my life.
I was not sure at first as I felt embarrassed about the way I looked and that my body would not cope or knew what exercise was. I did not know what to expect or what a journey I was about to start.
Amber was supportive, encouraging and understanding from the first day I met her. After my first session with Amber I was surprised that I wanted to go back, no pressure to continue, but I was made to feel like I could do it, and that I would not be alone. She was going to help me through the tough times. It was completely MY decision.

When I first met Aaron, I really didn’t know what to expect. I'd lost 25kg of weight due to stress and not eating, leaving me with poor to non existing muscle tone. I hadn’t set foot in a gym in over 20 years. I had continual pain in my left hip & lower back where I could hardly raise my feet above calf height without pain, & the weight I had lost had started to creep back on, but as fat and not as muscle. After a thorough examination of my posture, diet, strengths & weaknesses, not to mention personal goals, he started me on daily stretches for my hip and with incredible patience taught me the proper techniques required to start building a little muscle. Aaron’s encouragement and enthusiasm for what he does makes working with him so much easier, and his knowledge of the human body and his craft is amazing. I’m a person who likes to know ‘why’ & Aaron is always able to answer my questions, “Why can’t I drink so much coffee? Why can’t I stretch my hamstrings? What muscle am I meant to be using?” I started out having trouble squatting and dead lifting a broom stick! Now I can squat and dead lift half my body weight. When I was having trouble finding the motivation to do the exercises at home, Aaron suggested I join his early morning cross circuit class with one of his trainers, I’m even amazed at my fitness improvements! I started out having trouble coping with 1 or 2 stations, now I’ve progressed and recover so much quicker between stations and the hour flies by. If you’re thinking that it’s about time you got your life back on track, Aaron’s the person to help. Sometimes you have to put yourself first. Thanks Aaron!

My name is Paula and I have been training with Aaron for over a year. When I began training my goals were to improve posture, develop strength and to lose some weight. During this time I became pregnant with my first child. I continued to do training and Aaron developed a consistently changing program to meet the needs of my pregnancy. The program was fairly unchanged for the first few months and we continued to work on strengthening and posture correction exercises. As I moved into the second trimester Aaron included more core conditioning exercises and we focused on lots of upper body strengthening in the arms and back. Aaron introduced a heart rate monitor to track the
intensity of training and we continued to look at my diet to make sure I was eating a well-balanced and nutritious diet.
As the pregnancy progressed into the third trimester the intensity of training began to decrease a lot more and the focus was more on core exercises and breathing techniques. I trained up until a week before my baby was born. I believe my training was a great help throughout my pregnancy as I felt fit and healthy and was really excited to have suffered no back pain. I went through a 15 hour labour and found the breathing techniques I had learnt in training were very helpful during contractions. Due to other circumstances I needed to have a caesarean; and I had a beautiful baby boy. Overall I had a very good pregnancy and made a very quick recovery from the caesarean. Training kept me feeling good physically and mentally and I would recommend it to anyone whether you’re having a baby or not. I owe many thanks to Aaron who is a fantastic trainer and friend who offered lots of support, advice, experience and mostly fun during training, and I look forward to training again one day soon.

Aaron thoroughly assessed my posture, my muscular weaknesses and tightness. He measured the angles of my joints too! I have been a massage therapist for 13 years and have never come across a person who took as much care and attention to detail as Aaron.
He designed a program that speaks for itself. I didn't even do all he asked me to do but his precision and attention to detail had amazing results.

I first came to Aaron when I moved to Adelaide. My diet was terrible and I wasn't exercising as much as I should have. Only being small, I couldnt afford to put on any weight and I needed to get a good routine which pushed me and kept me at a good weight for my size. Aaron was fantastic, giving me programs which pushed me and he made me feel proud when I achieved what I never thought I could with my fitness. He kept things different by mixing up my programs and made exercising enjoyable and fun. I now know how to excerise safely and get good results. I am very proud of what I have achieved and now feel I can keep up a healthy lifestyle with exercise and a good diet.
